Job summary

Bryan Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in planning, organizing, and supervising all construction project activities. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedule, drawings, and specifications.

You will serve as a field leader coordinating subcontractors and upholding high onsite standards. As a backup to the Superintendent, you will assist with work in the field, manage look-ahead schedules, and participate in progress

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous field construction experience is required.
• Supervisory experience overseeing trades.
• Experience partnering with subcontractors.
• OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Carpenters and Laborers, providing training based on SOPs.
• Support project start-up activities by procuring materials and enabling site access.
• Support the RFI process and communicate updates to field crews.
• Assist the Superintendent and supervise field tasks as directed.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure work meets plans and specs.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage day-to-day workflow and schedule.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on site.
• Create and manage look-ahead schedules and assist with master scheduling.
• Attend subcontractor coordination and safety meetings and other project meetings.
• Maintain the site logistics plan and oversee utilities and facilities.
