Job summary

Bryan Construction Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead and supervise field operations from mobilization through closeout. You will coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety standards, and ensure work aligns with drawings and the project schedule.

You will manage start-up activities, RFIs, and changes while overseeing budgets, staffing, and quality control. A strong background in field leadership and collaboration with PMs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Previous field construction experience as an Assistant Superintendent or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience overseeing trades.
• Experience partnering with subcontractors.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• QCQM certification or ability to obtain (federal only).
• Leadership, coaching and/or mentoring experience.
• Experience working with RFIs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience using Bluebeam.
• Experience working with permitting, licensing, and inspection requirements.
• Experience with document management and/or contract review.
• Experience building and managing a project schedule.
• Project closeout experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop Assistant Superintendents, Carpenters and Laborers.
• Assist in pursuing future work; plan/prepare by visiting sites.
• Lead startup activities and attend preconstruction meetings.
• Draft, create, or partner on RFIs; review responses for adequacy.
• Support field work and self-perform tasks as needed.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure work aligns with drawings and schedules.
• Coordinate day-to-day workflow and keep subcontractors on schedule.
• Enforce safety protocols and attend safety meetings on site.
• Create and manage the project schedule; review constructability and submittals.
• Monitor budgets and labor forecasts; report risks to PM and leadership.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Develop and manage site logistics, deliveries, and access control.
• Maintain daily reports and up-to-date as-built drawings and logs.
• Perform layout, control lines, and permits scheduling as needed.
• Engage in BIM coordination and ensure constructability alignment.
• Oversee quality control and punchlist progress; manage closeout tasks.
