Job summary

Bryan Construction Inc is seeking a Superintendent to lead and supervise all construction project activities from mobilization through closeout, ensuring safety, efficiency, and schedule compliance. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage field operations, and uphold quality standards on site.

The role requires strong leadership, proven experience supervising trades, familiarity with RFIs and change orders, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous field construction experience as an Assistant Superintendent or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience overseeing trades.
• Experience partnering with subcontractors.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Leadership, coaching and/or mentoring experience.
• Experience working with RFIs.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience using Bluebeam.
• Experience using construction scheduling software.
• Experience working with permitting, licensing, and inspection requirements.
• Experience with document management and/or contract review.
• Experience building and managing a project schedule.
• Project closeout experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop Assistant Superintendents, Carpenters and Laborers.
• Assist in the pursuit of future work and plan site activities.
• Lead project startup activities and preconstruction meetings.
• Draft and review RFIs with Project Engineers and field teams.
• Support self-perform work in the field when needed.
• Oversee subcontractor management and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate day-to-day workflow of subcontractors and monitor progress.
• Enforce site safety and conduct toolbox talks.
• Create and manage the project schedule and monitor delays.
• Review change orders with the PM and assist with scopes/pricing.
• Monitor project budget and labor forecasts with PM.
• Lead and participate in project team meetings and logistics planning.
• Maintain site logistics, utilities, deliveries, and access control.
• Produce daily reports and maintain as-built drawings and field logs.
• Perform layout and ensure compliance with control lines.
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections as needed.
• Engage in BIM coordination meetings and alignment with constructability.
• Oversee quality control and punchlist management.
• Support project closeout and owner training as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and inspectors.
