Qualifications

• Read and interpret plans, specs, and contract documents; report deviations.
• Conduct soil, aggregate, asphalt testing and prepare field/lab reports.
• Attend meetings to gain project insight and provide progress updates.
• Measure and provide accurate documentation of work with precise math.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect various construction projects from beginning to completion.
• Thorough documentation of daily progress, computing and tracking materials and quantities, material sampling and testing, maintaining timely, accurate records of project progress and general oversight.
• Read and interpret plans, details, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Recognize and report any deviations from the contract documents.
• Conduct laboratory and field testing and reports on soils, aggregates, asphalt, and other materials.
• Maintain clear and effective written and oral communication and be able to answer inquiries as required.
• Attend and conduct meetings to gain insight of the project prior to construction, progress updates and other project related meetings.
• Measure and scale distances along with competent math skills to provide accurate documentation of work completed.
