Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction-related experience preferred but not required.
• KDOT Technician Certification is a plus or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction projects from start to finish with thorough documentation of daily progress.
• Read, interpret, and report deviations from plans and contract documents.
• Conduct lab and field testing and reporting on soils, aggregates, asphalt, and other materials.
• Maintain clear written and oral communications; attend project meetings for insights and updates.
• Measure distances and document work with accurate calculations.
