Job summary

Consor is seeking a construction inspector to monitor on-site activities, inspect materials, and verify conformance with plans and specifications for excavations, drainage, road surfaces, and structures. You will measure pay items, report daily production, and schedule work with the superintendent and agency personnel.

The role requires 2+ years of field inspection, the ability to read plans, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Requires HS diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of construction inspection experience.
DOT certifications in one or more areas.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Obtain required certifications and pass tests in time frames.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

Inspect and verify work to ensure compliance with schedule, contract documents, and plans.
Perform complex calculations and measurements of completed work.
Maintain daily inspector activity reports (labor, equipment, quantities).
Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches.
