Job summary

HNTB in Washington, DC seeks current/former interns to support daily on-site inspection of construction work. You will monitor contractor activities for compliance with contract documents, maintain logs, and assist Field Engineers on smaller projects.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of construction experience and required state certificates. Proficiency with testing equipment and MS Office is expected. Preference for former HNTB interns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of construction related experience.
• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and verifies work in progress to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Performs standard mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Mantains Inspector's daily report with labor, equipment, and material quantities.
• Conducts on-site material testing and creates as-constructed sketches as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
