Responsibilities

• Inspects construction methods and workmanship to ensure roadways, bridges, traffic signals and related structures meet plans and specs.
• Calculates payments due contractors for work completed.
• Coordinates inspections with other inspectors and project managers.
• Consults with Project Engineers and contractor superintendents on progress and problems.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and review of progress documentation.
