Job summary

Alfred Benesch & Company in Denver, CO is seeking a Construction Representative to oversee daily inspection and documentation of infrastructure projects, including road, water main, and sewer work. You will work to support project managers and maintain strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes field measurements, reports, and ensuring projects meet budgets and schedules. Recent grads are encouraged to apply; DOT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Construction Engineering or related engineering; EIT preferred.
• 0-5 years of experience with DOT preferred; recent grads encouraged.
• Experience on field projects desired.
• Experience with ArcGIS, MicroStation, Geopak or AutoCAD desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and ability to work within budgets/schedules.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review and assure budget and schedule adequacy with the project supervisor.
• Perform construction observation and follow project procedures.
• Maintain a field book per project procedures.
• Measure construction work and calculate pay item quantities.
• Prepare Inspector's Daily Reports and other docs as required by procedures.
• Report progress, technical issues, and deficiencies to the project supervisor.
• Review plans, specs, and submittals for assigned work.
• Provide design or professional assistance to project managers.
• Maintain company vehicle or equipment assigned to the project.
