K Construction, a family-owned Kansas builder, is seeking a dependable Building Crew Member to join our field team. You will work on post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial projects, from prepping sites to framing and finish work.

This role offers steady year-round work with W-2 employment, weekly pay, health insurance, retirement plan, and on-the-job training. Successful candidates value craftsmanship, outdoor work, and building things that stand for decades.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, or general labor preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to learn new construction skills and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction of post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial buildings.
• Prepare jobsites, tools, equipment, and materials for daily work.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials and components.
• Assist with framing, roofing, siding, trim, doors, windows, and related construction tasks.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
• Follow project plans and instructions from crew leaders and foremen.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
• Work effectively with the crew to keep projects on schedule.
• Complete work according to K Construction's quality standards.
