Job summary

Wick Buildings is seeking a Post Frame Construction Crew Member to join our Clinton, IL team. You will work with a crew to construct post-frame buildings for agricultural, commercial, residential, and equestrian customers, assisting with site prep, framing, roofing, siding, and finishing while prioritizing safety and quality.

You will travel to job sites as required and participate in safety meetings and training.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel overnight

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction of post-frame buildings from start to finish.
• Install posts, trusses, girts, roof purlins, steel roofing, and siding.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
• Load and unload materials and maintain an organized job site.
• Follow construction plans and supervisor instructions.
• Work safely at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment.
• Maintain company quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and inspections
