Cleary Building Corp. is hiring a Carpenter to join our Washington, MO field crew. You will construct post-frame buildings from the ground up, operate basic tools, and work at heights up to 35 feet.

The role offers year-round outdoor duties, learning opportunities in carpentry and construction, and progression through mentorship and leadership tracks. We emphasize strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to grow.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Prior experience in construction or the trades is a plus – but not required.
• Willing to learn and grow in the role.
• Competitive starting wages.
• Structured pay increases at key milestones.
• Weather pay and travel pay (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Construct post frame buildings from the ground up.
• Operate a variety of basic hand and power tools.
• Work at heights on ladders and aerial platforms (up to 35 feet).
• Deliver value and quality to clients on every project.
• Learn and develop skills in carpentry, framing, and construction.
• Participate in on-the-job training and mentorship programs.
• Career path opportunities through a Foreman in Training (FIT) program.
