Job summary

Catamount Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and Project Manager on nationwide construction projects.

You will coordinate subcontractors, prepare reports, facilitate meetings, organize sites and trailers, and perform tasks assigned by project leadership. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, at least 2 years with a general contractor, and proficiency in MS Office and Procore.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience training with a general contractor, or equivalent education/experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Procore
• Ability to read and understand project documents weeks in advance

Responsibilities

• Prepare a complete Daily Construction Report with weather, activities, manpower, and project photos
• Maintain on-site cost tracking logs and manage expenditures
• Interact with subcontractors professionally and address issues promptly
• Schedule work to expedite the project and resolve subcontractor issues
• Prepare daily/weekly safety reports and attend monthly safety meetings
• Prepare SWMP Reports and ensure BMPs are in place
• Review submittals for compliance with project requirements
• Develop and track the project turnover matrix and owner sign-offs
• Develop the project punch-list with PM and complete within two weeks
