Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction or related fields, strong MS Word/Excel skills, and a familiarity with AutoCAD. This on-site role emphasizes safety, coordination, and timely problem-solving on active sites.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related experience in construction management, engineering, or a similar field.
• MS Word and Excel are required.
• AutoCAD is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Receives direction from the Superintendent and assists with field duties.
• Assists with planning work, trade sequencing, and coordination of trades (materials takeoffs, equipment).
• Reviews submittals and confirms design/field condition compliance.
• Prepares daily construction reports and incident reports as needed.
• Communicates effectively with all project participants.
• Directs subcontractor activities within the area of responsibility.
• Enforces procedures and safety rules established by the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Ensures safety standards and equipment are maintained and used safely.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety compliance with federal, state, and local codes.
• Identifies and resolves issues with supervisor assistance when needed.
• Maintains a positive attitude and makes field decisions with sound judgment.
• Determines priorities based on deadlines and assists with other assignments as directed by the Superintendent.
