Job summary

SpawGlass is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects through daily field operations, coordination of subcontractors, and rigorous safety oversight.

You will work with the Superintendent and project leadership to ensure projects are built safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and company standards. This role emphasizes hands‑on field execution, organization, and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, including concrete, steel, framing, MEP coordination, finishes, and building envelope systems.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, schedules, safety requirements, and basic field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor activities and monitor work‑in‑place.
• Support short‑term planning and scheduling; assist with site logistics and material deliveries.
• Review drawings and specifications; enforce safety requirements and track daily progress.
• Maintain organized, productive jobsite and support punch‑list completion.
• Assist with inspections and improve field processes and site execution.
