Job summary

Spawglass Contractors Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily operations on job sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely and on schedule. You will coordinate subcontractors, enforce quality standards, and manage site activities.

The successful candidate will possess prior field management experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with the project team. The position includes competitive pay, profit sharing, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Previous field management experience on relevant construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Proven ability to run daily coordination meetings.
• Proficiency in reading drawings/specifications.
• Familiarity with construction technology and scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic field environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations on active job sites.
• Direct daily activities, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure work complies with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized site and track progress.
• Communicate clearly with project team to protect outcomes.
• Mentor assistant superintendents and contribute to planning.
