Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC is seeking a Cx Technician to verify readiness, test and troubleshoot HVAC systems for startup and turnover. This role requires hands-on mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and controls expertise with travel to support commissioning activities.

Qualifications

EPA Universal Refrigerant Card/Certification is required.
Minimum five years hands-on experience in this industry or a related field is required.
High School or Trade Graduate or GED is required.
Commercial experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform system-readiness inspections to confirm mechanical and HVAC equipment is complete and ready for startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
Verify that mechanical, electrical, and controls prerequisites are complete before equipment startup or functional testing.
Identify gaps, deficiencies, and incomplete work across mechanical, electrical, controls, TAB, vendor, and General Contractor scopes.
Coordinate with responsible parties to assign ownership, establish completion dates, and close readiness gaps.
Track deficiencies through completion and verify corrective work has been properly performed.
