Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School or trade certification or GED.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Card certification.
• NFPA 70E certification to work near live electrical equipment.
• Minimum five years hands-on experience in this industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-readiness inspections for mechanical and HVAC equipment.
• Verify prerequisites before startup or testing.
• Identify gaps across mechanical, electrical, and controls scopes.
• Coordinate with responsible parties to assign ownership and completion dates.
• Track deficiencies and verify corrective work is performed.
• Support equipment startups according to procedures and manufacturer requirements.
• Perform pre-startup inspections for EAS and third-party equipment.
• Oversee refrigeration piping installation verification and startup activities.
• Conduct system testing for proper operation, sequencing, and alarms.
• Document testing records and commissioning reports in CX Alloy.
