Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a dynamic HVAC Start Up / Commissioning Technician to support field trade teams and oversee maintenance and installation activities. The role emphasizes safe, efficient completion of tasks and requires experience in controls or HVAC.

The position will involve setting up and starting HVAC systems, coordinating with clients, and ensuring accurate records. Strong problem-solving and supervision skills are essential, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC trade experience.
• Previous experience in an operational and customer facing role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must multi-task, follow written and oral instructions, and show attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and implementation of HVAC systems, starting them up and programming them.
• Schedule and perform assigned tasks across multiple clients.
• Supervise tasks and projects.
• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend changes to improve safety.
• Maintain inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance records.
• Manage employee time records and daily activity reports.
• Participate in safety inspections and meetings.
• Test new equipment per design specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
