Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to complete startup, testing and commissioning of new HVAC and plumbing systems. You will perform mechanical functional testing, read mechanical prints, and document startup activities while coordinating with team members and supervisors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a journeyperson HVAC technician, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Three or more years as a commercial Journeyperson HVAC Technician or equivalent.
• High school diploma, GED, or apprenticeship completion in HVAC/refrigeration or similar program.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Startup and mechanical functional testing of HVAC and plumbing equipment.
• Mechanical system commissioning and testing.
• Plumbing system commissioning and testing.
• Complete startup and commissioning documentation.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints and specs.
• Maintain documentation of daily activities.
