Atlantic Constructors is seeking a HVAC Start Up / Commissioning Technician to support field teams and oversee maintenance and commissioning tasks. Must have background in Controls or HVAC and the ability to survey repairs, create scenarios, and implement them safely.

This role requires 5+ years in HVAC, customer-facing experience, and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems or related disciplines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong problem-solving are essential; willingness to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade field or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
• Experience in an operational and customer facing role.
• In-depth knowledge of two or more of: plumbing, electrical, HVAC cooling/ducted systems, construction practices, generator systems, controls systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set up and implementation of HVAC systems, starting them up and programming them.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule and perform assigned tasks.
• Supervise tasks and projects as assigned.
• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend changes to improve safety.
• Maintain inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance records.
• Manage employee time records and daily activity reports.
• Participate in safety inspections and job safety analyses.
• Test new or repair equipment to design specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
