Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Commissioning Technician to ensure compressor units operate safely by performing assessments, calibrations, on-site testing, and data reporting. The role emphasizes customer relationship development and adherence to Kodiak procedures and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in natural gas compression, relevant commissioning certifications, and strong mechanical aptitude. Travel will be required, with frequent on-site work and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in natural gas compression or related experience

Responsibilities

• Complete assessment of unit, calibrations, cleanings, controls or system checks per Kodiak standards
• Escalate unit issues to supervisor/manager as needed
• Ensure data collection is correct and complete
• Ensure all units are operating correctly on site
• Be on location for every test performed
• Perform corrective action as needed based on emissions testing
• Follow-up tests when out of compliance
• Prepare/submit reports one day per week
• Maintain communication with emissions, operations and customers
