Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States is seeking a Commissioning Technician to join our field team. You will travel to partner sites to startup, repair, troubleshoot modular data centers, execute commissioning test plans, and generate reports.

This role is site-based with occasional overtime. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or related certification, ability to read blueprints, understanding of AC/DC power, experience with test equipment, and a safety-minded approach.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related certification in electrical disciplines.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Basic understanding of AC/DC power; 3-phase power is a plus.
• Ability to use digital multi-meter and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Experience with switchgear or UPS systems is advantageous.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures on site.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local region to start up, repair, and troubleshoot modular data centers at partner sites.
• Execute approved commissioning test plans.
• Prepare commissioning and expense reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and field personnel to resolve issues.
