Job summary

ECNS GLOBAL CONSULTANTS, PLLC is seeking a Commissioning Engineer I-III to lead and support commissioning of electrical power systems across multiple sites. Responsibilities include testing, startup, and turnover for MV/LV systems, generators, UPS, switchgear, and related infrastructure.

Positions vary by level: I (1–3 years), II (3+ years, FE preferred), III (7+ years, PE preferred). Travel up to 100% to project sites. ABET‑accredited EE degree required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
• FE certification preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 100% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover activities for electrical power systems and equipment.
• Develop and perform commissioning procedures, test plans, and documentation for MV/LV systems, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient system operation.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and commissioning deliverables commensurate with experience level.
• Lead field testing activities, oversee commissioning execution, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test records, and project documentation.
• Commissioning Engineer III: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and commissioning personnel, as appropriate.
