Job summary

ECNS GLOBAL CONSULTANTS, PLLC is seeking Commissioning Engineers I–III to support electrical power system commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover. You will develop procedures, test plans, and documentation for MV/LV systems, generators, UPS, switchgear, and related infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years for Engineer I, 3+ years for II, and 7+ years for III, with strong troubleshooting and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 1–3 years of related experience for Commissioning Engineer I; 3+ for II; 7+ for III.
• Experience with commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of utility, industrial, generation, transmission, distribution, or substation electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover activities for electrical power systems and equipment.
• Develop and perform commissioning procedures, test plans, and documentation for MV/LV systems, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient system operation.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and commissioning deliverables commensurate with experience level.
• Lead field testing activities, oversee commissioning execution, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test records, and project documentation.
• Commissioning Engineer III: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and commissioning personnel.
