ECNS GLOBAL CONSULTANTS, PLLC is seeking a Commissioning Engineer I–III to support electrical power system commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover activities. You will develop procedures, test plans, and documentation for MV/LV systems, generators, UPS, and switchgear, coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams.

OPPORTUNITY for advancement with the Field Services team. Travel is on site with potential up to 100% across multiple sites; PE license preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited).

Responsibilities

• Execute and support commissioning, testing, startup, and turnover activities for electrical power systems and equipment.
• Develop and perform commissioning procedures, test plans, and documentation for MV/LV systems, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient system operation.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and commissioning deliverables commensurate with experience level.
• Lead field testing activities, oversee commissioning execution, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test records, and project documentation.
• Commissioning Engineer III: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and commissioning personnel.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or Master's Degree (M.S.) in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program
