Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture in Rockingham, NC is hiring a Delivery and Collections Associate. You will support late payment collections and perform home/warehouse delivery duties, including loading/unloading merchandise and ensuring accurate documentation.

You will travel to customer locations, obtain signatures, and assist with repossessions when approved by management. Must have a valid driver’s license and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months distribution/warehouse experience.
• Six months experience in payment collections or general office procedures.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Confers with customers by telephone to determine overdue payments and reviews terms of sales or credit contract.
• Documents all correspondence with customers concerning accounts.
• Receives payments and posts them to the customer’s account.
• Travels to customers’ homes to collect late payments and assists with repossessions when approved.
• Prepares paperwork for legal action for severely delinquent accounts.
• Logs daily/weekly/monthly activity; maintains records and reports.
• Operates PC, printer, calculator, copier, telephone, and standard software.
• Ensures vehicle safety and assists drivers with unloading at delivery sites.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and secures deliveries at customer locations.
• Records deliveries and obtains customer signatures for receipts.
