Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture in North Carolina seeks a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to load and unload merchandise and help with deliveries to customers’ homes or businesses. You will support stock displays, maintenance, and safety while ensuring accurate delivery records and adherence to delivery standards.

You will interact with customers and team members, assist with repossessions when required, and help keep the store and warehouse clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in distribution or warehouse environment, shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise, or equivalent training.
• Ability to operate equipment and assist with delivery and unloading.
• Strong attention to safety and accuracy in records and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unloads merchandise from trucks and loads trucks for daily deliveries.
• Places stock on shelves and sets up displays and promotions.
• Performs general maintenance and grounds keeping duties for warehouse/store.
• Directs delivery vehicles into unloading areas and ensures safe operations.
• Records deliveries on delivery records and submits to management.
• Collects customer signature for pickup or delivery and assists with repossessions if needed.
• Assists in other store departments as required.
