Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a capable associate to locate and contact customers with delinquent accounts, collect payments, and document all interactions. The role also includes loading/unloading merchandise, assisting with deliveries, and repossession support when approved by management.

Responsibilities extend to paperwork for potential legal actions, daily activity logging, and ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with delivery standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; six (6) months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment; six months experience in payment collections or general office procedures; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Confers with customers by telephone to determine overdue payment details and reviews terms to obtain payment.
• Documents all correspondence with customers concerning accounts.
• Receives payments and posts amounts to customer accounts.
• Delivers and loads merchandise, assists with deliveries, and supports repossessions when approved.
• Prepares paperwork for potential legal action for severely delinquent accounts.
• Logs work activities daily, weekly, and monthly for tracking.
• Operates PCs, printers, calculators, and standard office software as needed.
• Ensures safe vehicle operation by assisting delivery drivers and unloading areas.
• Loads trucks and unloads merchandise at customer locations, obtaining signatures as required.
• Maintains delivery records and submits them to management.
• Conducts vehicle maintenance records, fuel usage, and safety checks.
