YER USA is seeking a Mechatronics Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and support CNC machine tools at customer facilities across the Americas. The role combines mechanical, electrical, CNC/PLC, hydraulic, and diagnostic work and requires independent field presence with team collaboration.

Based in Livonia, MI with travel throughout North America, you will diagnose CNC/PLC alarms, read schematics, and perform precision alignments.

Qualifications

Experience with CNC machine tools and CNC/PLC systems is required or highly preferred.
Reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting motors, sensors, relays, drives, and power circuits.
HEIDENHAIN TNC controls are the primary platform; Siemens/FANUC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair CNC machine-tool issues across electrical, mechanical, CNC/PLC, hydraulic, and peripheral systems.
Read schematics and troubleshoot components such as motors, sensors, relays, and drives.
Prepare clear service reports documenting troubleshooting steps, measurements, and parts replaced.
Travel to customer sites; work independently or in a multi-technician team when required.
