Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months experience in CMT field testing.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I certification.
• ICC Soils Special Inspector certification.
• Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training certification.
• Understanding of Proctor testing and USCS soil classification.
• Competency in One-Point Proctor testing in the field.
• Ability to read detailed plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, understand and execute written and verbal directions.
• Review specs for civil/structural plans and apply scope of work.
• Perform tests, inspections and observations per project requirements.
• Submit daily field reports documenting testing and field observations.
• Document and communicate non-conforming items to supervision.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment per codes and standards.
• Operate nuclear density gauge safely and in compliance.
• Demonstrate competency in Proctor testing and plan reading.
