Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Enabling Technologies to support Neurosurgery/Navigation/Robotic procedures across a regional territory. The role requires residence within the territory and frequent travel to customer sites, with a valid driver’s license essential for on-site work.

You will provide clinical, technical and product knowledge, maintain relationships, and train customers on technology-enabled procedures while supporting quality system requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
• Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience; or
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, support, and collaborate with NRCs and Surgical Synergy team members for on-site installations.
• Represent Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance.
• Maintain system hardware and software to maximize system performance.
• Install software and hardware upgrades.
• Perform system preventative maintenance.
• Provide telephone clinical support to customers.
• Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on technical matters relating to our technology-enabled procedures.
• Continually train team members to increase knowledge of latest technology-enabled procedures.
