Job summary
Medtronic is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Enabling Technologies, a field-based professional responsible for clinical, technical and product knowledge support across Neurosurgery and Navigation/Robotics portfolios. Must reside in the territory and travel to multiple accounts, with a valid drivers license essential.
The role builds strong customer relationships, trains physicians and hospital staff, maintains hardware/software, and supports technology-enabled procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 6 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
- Associate0 Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
- Bachelor degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical, medical sales or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, support, and collaborate with NRCs for on-site installations with customers.
- Represents Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance.
- Maintain system hardware and software to maximize system performance.
- Installs software and hardware upgrades.
- Performs system preventative maintenance.
- Provides telephone clinical support to customers.
- Educates and trains physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters relating to our technology-enabled procedures.
