Job summary

Salt Lake City Corporation seeks a qualified Clean-up Equipment Operator II to perform cleanup operations on city streets and neighborhoods. You may operate a mix of light to heavy equipment and assist in snow removal programs, with potential for acting as a crew lead.

Minimum qualifications include six months of broom/cleanup equipment operation and a valid Class D license; CDL or ability to obtain within six months is required. Work may require on-call scheduling.

Qualifications

• Six months operating broom/cleanup equipment or related gear.
• 2+ years of related cleanup/landscaping equipment experience for Operator II.
• CDL (or ability to obtain within six months) and flagger certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a full range of light to heavy equipment for cleanup of city streets and neighborhoods.
• Assist in snow removal and daily refuse duties as needed during assigned shifts.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and document logs; report major repairs.
• Lead or coordinate small crews as needed with supervision.
