Job summary

NLC (Next Level Contractors) is seeking a Civil Construction Superintendent to lead field operations across Utah projects. This is a hands-on role overseeing earthwork, grading and underground utilities, ensuring work aligns with plans, budgets and schedules.

You will report to project sites across Utah, travel between locations as needed, and own field execution from preconstruction through completion. A minimum of five years in heavy civil supervision and strong leadership are essential for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
• Experience overseeing earthwork, grading, excavation, and underground utilities.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and budgets.
• Strong ability to read and interpret civil plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations across active projects throughout Utah.
• Develop and maintain a 20-day look-ahead schedule and coordinate resources.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project activities.
• Monitor safety, productivity, and project performance against plans and budgets.
• Maintain field documentation for effective project tracking and reporting.
