Job summary

Foundation Personnel Inc. is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for earthwork, soil stabilization, and environmental remediation projects in Utah.

You will plan, supervise, and coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet schedule and quality targets. You will collaborate with safety teams to enforce policies, coach field personnel, manage daily production against estimates, and communicate project status to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of construction experience, including five years of direct field supervision.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mining industry.
• Demonstrated experience with earthwork construction, soil stabilization, environmental remediation, landfill closure projects and/or mass excavation.
• Strong understanding of safety related to the operation of heavy equipment is mandatory.
• Willing and able to travel to job sites and manage operations with a rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the crew onsite and manage execution of soil and earthwork in accordance with project schedule and specs.
• Collaborate with site safety to reinforce safety culture and ensure compliance with plans and procedures.
• Evaluate craft competencies to ensure safe operation of heavy equipment.
• Monitor crew performance, including training, coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare and track daily timesheets to align with activities completion.
• Maintain inventory of materials and equipment to support deadlines and budgets.
• Lead integration of subcontractors to safety standards on site and mentor team members.
• Manage production goals and provide input on safety, productivity, quality, and financial status to the Project Manager.
