Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field required or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience in lab packing or environmental waste.
• Valid Driver’s License; ability to obtain Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement within 6 months.
• Must pass Motor Vehicle Record per company standards.
• Due to respirator use, candidates must be clean shaven.
• The role requires field work at various locations and travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Identify, characterize, sort, and segregate chemicals by hazard class and compatibility.
• Perform lab pack services at industrial facilities, laboratories, and other sites.
• Package and prepare hazardous and non-hazardous materials for transport and disposal.
• Complete required documentation and ensure proper labeling and segregation.
• Provide direction to Field Technicians and Drivers assisting with waste collection.
• Travel regionally to support projects and assist other locations when needed.
