Job summary

Milestone Inc. is seeking a Field Chemist to join the Northeast region (remote in CT preferred) with travel across the territory.

You will install and maintain laboratory instrumentation, deliver client training and applications support, and proactively engage customers to anticipate evolving lab needs. The ideal candidate combines chemistry knowledge with hands-on electromechanical aptitude, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to four clients per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 2 years hands-on laboratory experience with analytical instrumentation.
• Experience with instrument maintenance and field service is a plus.
• Ability to identify client needs and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install Milestone instrumentation and perform calibration, testing, and onboarding.
• Provide training and applications support to clients.
• Engage customers to identify after-market opportunities and upgrades.
• Manage a travel-intensive territory and document activity and orders.
