Republic Services, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist I to work both indoors and outdoors at customer sites. The role supports hazardous, non-hazardous and universal waste removal, ensuring safety standards and proper documentation.

The candidate collects and characterizes waste, prepares shipping documents, and assists with inspections and waste handling at multiple customer locations. Travel to sites is required, with a focus on accurate sampling and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of chemistry principles and practices.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documentation and regulations.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, characterize & package customer waste for disposal.
• Assist in transporting waste per federal regulations.
• Prepare packing lists, waste labels and shipping documents.
• Support on-site inspections, waste collection and inventory management.
