Clean Harbors in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Insite Chemist to join our safety-conscious team. This entry-level role assists in collection, packaging and lab packing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at client sites in Milwaukee, WI.

This position is NOT laboratory-based and requires a valid driver's license. The role is Monday through Friday, 5:45 am to 1:45 pm, physically demanding with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical as required.
• Meet facial hair standards per respirator requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect staging, storage areas and drums for leaks, spills, and labeling compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal to maximize efficiency and compliance.
• Perform duties at client locations and ensure projects meet OSHA/ EPA/ DOT guidelines.
• Observe local, state, and federal compliance and operate vehicles safely under regulations.
