Clean Harbors in Germantown, WI seeks a Class B CDL Route Driver (CleanPack Chemist) to handle, segregate, pack and inspect chemical waste at client sites, indoors and outdoors, with laboratory pack support at facilities and HHW collections. This is a customer-facing role, requiring daily site visits.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 6:00 am start, overtime after 40 hours, and paid training with expenses covered for out-of-state academy training.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license (required).
• Strong customer service skills.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within 6 months of employment (by position).
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow all safety policies.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, manifests, and disposal notifications.
• Inspect staging, storage areas and drums for leaks, spills and labeling compliance.
• Package waste chemicals for disposal and maximize efficiency and compliance.
• Perform jobs at customer sites, including Fortune 500 clients.
• Approve all projects before shipment per OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies.
• Follow site-specific regulations and health and safety plans.
• Understand customer disposal restrictions and special packaging requirements.
