Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a CEI Inspector for Bulloch County, GA. You will perform field inspections of roadway and bridge construction, verify materials, and maintain project documentation throughout construction.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, interacting with contractors and stakeholders, and supporting project engineers. GDOT certifications may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting roadways or bridges or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs and contract documents.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Certifications listed below must be obtained in timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of roadway and bridge construction to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
• Inspect asphalt/concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, alignment and quality.
• Inspect structural components including foundations, piling, reinforcing steel, concrete placement.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion controls; maintain records.
• Prepare reports, participate in meetings and assist project management as needed.
• Supervise inspectors and provide directions during routine inspections.
