Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a CEI Inspector-Bulloch County to perform construction engineering and inspection on roadway and bridge projects in Bulloch County, GA.

You will verify materials, assess workmanship, maintain records, and support project engineers throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate has 18 months to 3 years of transportation inspection experience, reads plans and specs, and holds a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 months to 3 years of progressive transportation inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of highway construction materials and inspection procedures.
• Pass GDOT tests and obtain required certifications within specified timeframes.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials and overall construction quality.
• Monitor traffic control devices and erosion control measures.
• Prepare reports, maintain inspection records, and document findings.
• Supervise or direct other inspectors as assigned.
• Assist with project meetings and plan reviews.
