CDM Smith is seeking an on‑site Field Inspector to join our Transportation Construction, Engineering and Inspection team. You will perform inspections at project locations across the region, including Orlando, FL, and Sarasota, FL, and contribute to quality control and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of highway construction practices.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Certifications from a State Highway Agency or NICET/ACI as required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience with highway construction materials and tests.

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials.
• Review daily contractor reports and verify QC procedures and material testing.
• Review material testing results and measure quantities; may sample and test soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt pavement.
