Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Field Service Engineer I/II - Calibration Technician to perform calibrations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on pipettes and small laboratory instruments. The role involves travel to customer sites, field service, and strict adherence to GDP and safety guidelines.

You will manage parts inventory, document service activities, and communicate with clients while ensuring quality and timely executions.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year degree in a related science field with up to 3 years field service experience.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Physical ability to lift and transport equipment and perform tasks in lab environments.
• Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel within customer territory up to 5 days per week; overnight travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations/qualifications and preventive maintenance on pipettes and small lab instrumentation.
• Travel to customer sites for calibrations and PMs as required.
• Troubleshoot and repair various lab equipment in field or lab settings.
• Manage personal parts inventory effectively.
• Provide feedback to Manager on issues impacting service delivery and turnaround times.
• Complete administrative paperwork and reports promptly and accurately.
• Follow GDP and all applicable SOPs; maintain confidentiality and safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal/external teams.
