Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in the San Diego area seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer (FSE) who is a recognized SME in calibration, metrology, and equipment qualification, with extensive preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory instrumentation, especially in controlled environments.

This role mentors field staff, drives regulatory compliance, and supports certification programs such as CETA and NEBB; travel may be required across territories.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
7–10 years in calibration, metrology, maintenance or related field.
Experience as Field Service Engineer or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

SME in calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of lab equipment.
Mentor and train field service personnel; serve as escalation point.
Support ISO/IEC 17025, GDP, and other regulatory requirements across pharma and biotech environments.
Develop SOPs and qualification protocols to improve standards.
