Job summary

Zito Media is seeking a Service Installation Technician to perform routine installations, disconnects, and troubleshooting of cable, high-speed internet, phone services and end user equipment. This role may require on-call evenings and weekends. Prior experience is preferred, but training will be provided.

A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required. Travel out of state may be needed to support coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with clean record.
• Ability to travel/out-of-state as needed.
• Basic computer troubleshooting (email/MS Office) is a plus.
• Experience in a service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install cable television, internet and phone services.
• Complete and submit all work orders.
• Identify and fix faults from subscriber drop to equipment to ensure proper signal quality.
• Communicate with customers about reception problems and services.
• Apply technical expertise to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Work with minimal supervision within company guidelines.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or evident.
• Travel out of state may be required to assist with coverage.
