Job summary

Zito Media is seeking a Service Installation Technician in California to perform routine installations, disconnects, and troubleshooting of cable, high‑speed internet, phone services and end user equipment. Must meet performance standards and educate subscribers in use of equipment.

This role requires on‑call evenings and weekends; prior experience preferred, but training is offered. Responsibilities include installing TV, internet and phone services; submitting work orders; diagnosing faults

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Basic computer troubleshooting including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Install cable television, internet and phone services.
Complete and submit all assigned work orders.
Identify faults from subscriber drop to equipment and fix by adjusting, repairing or replacing components.
Complete work orders generated through subscriber service requests.
Communicate with customers regarding reception problems and services.
Apply technical expertise to evaluate problems and implement solutions.
Work under minimal supervision and inform supervisor as needed.
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Travel out of state may be required to assist with coverage.
