Job summary

Zito Media in Bryson City, NC is hiring a Service Installation Technician to perform routine installations, disconnects, and troubleshooting of cable, high-speed internet, phone services and end user equipment. On-call evenings and weekends may be required; prior experience is preferred but training is available.

The role requires climbing ladders, driving with a clean record, and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state drivers license with excellent driving record.
• Customer-friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Basic computer troubleshooting including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install cable television, internet and phone services.
• Complete and submit all work orders.
• Identify and fix faults from subscriber drop to equipment.
• Communicate with customers about reception problems and instructions.
• Apply technical knowledge to solve problems and maintain service quality.
• Travel out of state as needed to cover schedules.
