Job summary

Zito Media is seeking a Service Installation Technician to perform routine installations, disconnects, and troubleshooting of cable, high-speed internet, phone services and end user equipment. Must maintain performance standards and educate subscribers in using company equipment.

The role requires on-call evenings and weekends. This position involves installing services, diagnosing faults, and communicating effectively with customers while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to climb ladders and poles.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• On-call evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install cable television, internet and phone services.
• Complete and submit all work orders.
• Identify faults from subscriber drop to equipment and fix.
• Complete work orders generated by service requests.
• Communicate with customers about reception problems and services.
• Apply technical knowledge to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Work with minimal supervision and inform supervisor as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
• Perform related duties and on-call coverage as needed.
• Travel out of state may be required for coverage.
